I enjoy seeing the impact that orthodontics has on my patients’ confidence and self esteem. As a young sixth-grader my sights were set on becoming an orthodontist and I have never regretted it. Not only do I value the long-term relationships built with patients and their families, it is so rewarding seeing the life-changing impact an improved smiles has on a person.
Growing up in Las Vegas, I received my undergraduate degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I then moved to Los Angeles and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. Pursuing further dental education, I specialized in orthodontics at the University of Connecticut, where I earned a Certificate of Orthodontics and a Master’s Degree in Dental Sciences. In 1998 I moved to the East Bay and have been in the private practice of orthodontics ever since.
Outside of the office, you can find me out running, on the slopes in Tahoe snowboarding, and reading comic books. I am an avid collector of all things Spider-Man, as you can tell from my office decor. I live in Pleasanton with my wife, teenage daughters, dog, and 2 cats.
