I enjoy seeing the impact that orthodontics has on my patients’ confidence and self-esteem. As a young sixth-grader I set my sights on becoming an orthodontist and have never regretted it. Not only do I value the long-term relationships I build with patients and their families, but it is also so rewarding seeing the life-changing impact an improved smile has on a person.
I grew up in Las Vegas, NV, where I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I then moved to Los Angeles and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. Pursuing further dental education, I specialized in orthodontics at the University of Connecticut, where I earned a Certificate of Orthodontics and a Master’s Degree in Dental Sciences. In 1998 I moved to the East Bay and have been in the private practice of orthodontics ever since.
Outside of the office, you can find me out running, on the slopes in Tahoe snowboarding, and reading comic books. I am an avid collector of all things Spider-Man, as you can tell from my office decor. I live in Pleasanton, CA with my wife, teenage daughters, dog, and 2 cats.
